The cup drifts between shifts
Profiles live in someone’s head, a USB stick, or a spreadsheet nobody updates.
When profiles live in heads and spreadsheets, the cup drifts. First Crack logs every batch, connects your machine, and keeps the next shift on the same curve — on the floor, not in a browser tab.

Consistency dies in the gaps — between shifts, between tools, between the floor and the office.
Profiles live in someone’s head, a USB stick, or a spreadsheet nobody updates.
Live curves on one machine. Inventory and orders somewhere else.
You need low-latency hardware links and an app that still works offline.
Log BT/ET/RoR and keep every roast searchable — so the next shift can hit the same cup.
Modbus, Phidget, and Artisan-ready paths. Keep roasting when the network drops.
Day plan, green inventory, and production reports in one place — not five spreadsheets.
Promote winning profiles, leave notes, and give the next roaster a clear reference — not a verbal handoff.
A native desktop app with low-latency hardware links — and cloud sync when you’re back in the office. Connect the gear you already own.
Common setups: Probat · Giesen · Diedrich · Delta / Autonics controllers · and Artisan-compatible machines.
RTU/TCP — PLC and controller links (e.g. Probat, Giesen, gas roasters)
Thermocouple & probe interfaces (e.g. Diedrich-style setups)
Reuse familiar machine configs from Artisan / Cropster-class setups
macOS & Windows installers — works offline on the floor

Yes. The desktop app is built for the roast floor with low-latency hardware links. Cloud sync is for when you’re back online — not required mid-roast.
Pro covers live roast, history, profiles, greens/blends, and schedule — 200 batches per billing month, 1 seat. Pro+ adds unlimited batches and commerce connectors (Shopify, Naver, Cafe24, and similar).
Both. Apple Silicon and Intel Macs (macOS 12+), and Windows 10/11 64-bit. Download installers on the download page; system requirements are in the docs.
Pro and Pro+ include 1 seat. Enterprise adds multi-seat teams, custom work, FDE support, and contract billing — contact sales for pricing (from about $300/mo + per-seat).
Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period. Trial: cancel before it ends to avoid the first charge. Fees are generally non-refundable except where law requires or for clear duplicate charges — see Terms.
